1.00 Seebright won 3 times over hurdles last season. His future lies over fences but he comes here with an each way chance. Western Warhorse won at Chepstow last season. A former Irish points winner he can be a bit headstrong. Sausalito Sunrise is yet to win over hurdles but looks on a fair mark here and gets the selection.
1.35 The Liquidator was nominated as a horse to follow by David Pipe at the start of the season and has already won at Carlisle.
2.10 Raya Star will do for me. Ted Veale looks the danger.
3.15 Court Minstrel is one to consider after his success in the Scottish Champion Hurdle last season. Dell Arca a winner in France before joining David Pipe for a lot of money! He looks likely to be a smart performer. Pine Creek, an impressive winner at Ascot, may still be ahead of the handicapper. Ifandbutwhynot is a course and distance winner and posted a promising display when 3rd at Aintree recently. Pine Creek is my selection.
3.50 Red Sherlock, Our Kaempfer and Southfield Vic all look to have chances.
