Diary: Boxing Day

I am going to start my Boxing Day preview at Kempton. Hopefully we can get things off to a winning start in the opener at 12.50. My selection is Open Eagle trained by Willie Mullins. He won the November Handicap on the flat on heavy ground and has made a good start to his hurdling career by winning at Fairyhouse. He should have no problem with soft going.

1.25 Full Shift is a course winner and looks quite well handicapped. He has also won on soft ground. The other one I like is Sirabad.

2.00 I suggest backing a couple of horses in this race; Tea for Two and Native River.

2.35 Faugheen will be a short priced favourite and I am inclined to take a chance with The New One.

3.10 My preference here is for Don Cossack with the next best Smad Place.

3.45 Gunner Fifteen looks potentially well in and he should come on for his run at Haydock last month.
