1.50 Mickie is a genuine sort, in good from and versatile as to ground conditions.
2.25 Minella Forfitness ran up a hat trick last season but makes a belated seasonal; reappearance here. Certainly one for any short list although there is a slight doubt about ability to handle the ground. The Skyfarmer has won his last 4 races but all were on good grounds. Irish Saint won a Grade 2 at Kempton last season but is yet to fire this term. This is an open race and I will take a chance on the unexposed Get in Line.
3.35 Hidden Cyclone was 3rd in the Paddy Power at Cheltenham and has since run very well in Ireland. He handles soft ground and should go well.
4.05 Champagne West has won for us before and there is a strong temptation to stay with him. He is giving weight away on heavy ground however which just sways me in favour of the promising Ceasar Milan.
Haydock
12.55 Rival D’Estruval goes well fresh and has won on soft and heavy ground.
1.30 O’Faolain’s Boy is taken to upset the hot favourite.
2.05 Meadowcroft Boy looks the value.
2.40 Ptit Zig looks the one to beat.
3.15 Katenko likes the ground and if he can recapture last season’s form looks the one to beat.

1.0 This looks toi be between Closing Ceremony and Minella on Line. On form there is not much between them so the 3/1 about Minella on Line looks the value bet.
1.35 The Liquidator and Josses Hill make most appeal. The Liquidator gets the nod.
2.40 The trip should suit River Maigue who is entitled to come on for his seasonal debut run before Christmas.
3.15 Buddy Bolero acts on soft ground and is a tentative selection.

1.40 Karinga Dancer may well win this under a penalty but the price is short enough and Western Warhorse and Victor Hewgo look better value.
