1.15 Le Bec won on his chase debut at Uttoxeter and looks a natural over fences. African Gold was runner up in a Grade 1 hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival last season but has always looked a chaser ion the making. Bob Ford was another decent hurdler and his chase debut at Ffos Las looks good in retrospect. This should be an informative contest. My selection is African Gold.
1.50 Goulanes is a thorough stayer who has won at Cheltenham over hurdles. The ground may not be testing enough for him though. Tour Des Champs is the other one I like. Once again though the ground is the worry as he needs testing conditions. Both horses look short enough in the betting given that conditions may not be ideal for them. Both the horses named should be winning before long whether they prevail tomorrow remains to be seen. Rain will help their cause.
2.30 Rajdhani Express and Tap Night are my two against the field.
3.00 Salubrious looks each way value.
3.35 Port Melon comes here with a bit of a reputation in the point to point sphere. He could eb very good. Creepy has an each way shout.
