Goodwood

2.15 Opinion won his maiden well enough at Windsor and looks a worthy favourite. At a bigger priced Trader Jack may well improve on his Sandown running now he has better ground.

2.45 Fiorente handles fast ground and takes a drop in class here.

3.20 Classy hurdler Grumeti comes here on the back of a win on the flat at Ascot and can follow up.

4.25 This looks a winning opportunity for Sea Moon. Dandino is the main danger.

Haydock

2.00 Moidore just gets the edge here but both Beyond Conceit and Montaser are feared.

2.30 Archbishop was only beaten a nose at Newmarket last time and on better ground tomorrow he should eb competitive. Gabrial is the other one I like. He was only beaten a neck at Chester on his latest start.

5.15 Cravat is a nice big price running over what my well be his best trip.

York

2.05 Royal Peculiar ran poorly last time but had previously won well at Lingfield last season and is worth another chance.

3.10 Gulf of Naples, a grey son of Dubawi is a consistent sort and should give us a run for our money.

3.45 I am going for a big priced outsider in Vocational, twice a winner over the minimum trip last season.

Chester selections

3.25 Tidal Way

4.00 Pintura

Curragh

3.15 Takar
