Diary: October 29 2010

After a dismal start to my punting week things have take a turn for the better with Mohawk Ridge (6/1) and Tullius (25/1) amongst other winners over the last two days.

The flat season is drawing to a close but hopefully we will be able to squeeze in a few more winners over the next few days. Dean Swift could be the one to be on in the Newmarket 1.50 tomorrow. He is well thought of by his trainer and should have learned plenty from his debut run at Leicester last month.

In the 4.10 the consistent Zahoo shouldn’t be far away while in the same race Plaisterer looks over priced.

I like the look of Be My Light in the 4.20 at Uttoxeter while Bonfire Knight could make a winning debut over hurdles at Wetherby in the 3.55.

Walvis Bay won at Ripon at the beginning of August but rather went off the boil after that. His last run at York earlier this month was more like it though and he could be of interest when making his all weather bow in the Wolverhampton 7.10.
