Australia Day was quite smart on the flat winning a Sandown handicap off a mark of 90 and he has already won over hurdles, at Worcester last month. He jumps well and should be suited by the track in the Kempton 3.25.
In the Kempton 4.35 I thought about Red Moloney and Katies Tutor although I don’t have a particularly strong view on the race. Red Moloney would be my preference of the pair.
On the all weather at Southwell in the 2.40 Mubrook and Blue Nymph represent my list to follow and there are also two in the 3.15, Sovereign Remedy and Lucky Dance. Of the quartet Sovereign Remedy looks to have the best chance.
I successfully tipped Dig Deep to win at big odds earlier in the season. He is a difficult horse to predict however and probably comes into the “stop at a winner” category. He runs in the 5.00 at Southwell.
My selections at Cork tomorrow are 2.45 Imperial Cascade and 5.25 Catch Me.
