The 3.45 at Goodwood tomorrow looks another winning opportunity for Henry Cec il’s Twice Over. In the 4.20 Plymouth Rock and Mabuya look the pair to concentrate on. Plymouth Rock has only run twice, winning on his debut before failing to justify favouritism when odds on to follow up in a handicap. He is certainly not one to give up on yet but I suppose the safe option would be Mabuya who, apart from his last run, has been consistent.
Earlier on the Goodwood card debutant Life and Soul is related to a number of winners and is one to look out for in the 2.00.
Felsham, a half brother to Oldjoesaid, was 3rd on his debut at Sandown and gets my vote for the Kempton 6.20. An hour later Union Island, visored first time is a tentative suggestion. He was an excellent 2nd to Changingoftheguard at York but has been below par since. The visor may bring out the best in him.
Walcott Square, 2nd at Brighton last time, now qualifies for handicaps and makes his debut in that sphere in the Kempton 8.20. He is in with a chance.
There is jumping action at Perth where Sue Smith has Nirvana Swing in the 4.45. He failed to win a race last season but showed plenty of ability the season before. He might be worth following in the months ahead.
