Diary: July 10 2007

Runners from our list to follow have had a lean time of it over the last few days with only Bollin Felix scoring today.  There are 3 flat meeting tomorrow and of course later in the week we have the big July meetimg at Newmarket to look forward to.

Marozi represents Michael Jarvis in the 4.00 at Lingfield.  This American bred made a favourable impression when 2md to Miss Lucifer on his only run last season, at Newmarket.  He is well regarded by connections and despite not having the best of the draw should go well.

At Pontefract Tebee makes his handicap debut in the 3.45.  He went into my notebook when making an encouraging debut at Lingfield last October but has not shown a lot in two runs thus far this term. He has a mark of 73 which would give him a chance on the form shown in that initial run.

Rhaam and Yossi represent our list to follow in the maiden at 4.45. Yossi reverts to a maiden here after competing in handicaps.  He clearly has the ability to win a race like this but has not always looked the most straightforward of characters.  Rhaam was 4th in a decent maiden at Haydock on his last outing and has at least an each way chance here. These 2 are only separated by 1 lb in the official ratings and that looks about right: there is very little to choose based on what they have achieved so far.

View from the Top has disappointed on both his starts on turf this season but was second at Wolverhampton two runs ago.  He returns to Wolverhampton for the 7.50 where he should not be far away.

Bye for now
