Diary: April 4 2007

Although there are all sorts of delights on the jumps racing horizon it’s all flat racing tomorrow.

For the benefit of his fan club who may be reading these notes I see that old Legal Set runs in the seller at Catterick tomorrow (2.20). His glory days are rather in the distant past and his current losing runs stands at 37.

Halla San has served been a good friend to this site and makes his seasonal reappearance in the 3.20.  He could well have another profitable season but may need a little more give in the ground. Another interesting runner is Monolith who is fit6 from hurdling.

Hawridge Prince looks a promising stayer and I will be watching him closely in the 4.10 at Nottingham. He is a course winner but may find this trip just too short for him.  The other one I like in this is Mount Kilimanjaro who has some decent form last season.

Dumas could be something of a dark horse in the 5.10.

See you tomorrow
