Huntingdon

3.20 No No Charlie has been a bit injury prone but he has shown form in bumpers and clearly has ability.

5.20 This looks to be between Purple Bay and Wadswick Court. My slight preference is for Purple Bay.

Chepstow

3.00 Killala Quay comes from a stable bang in form and looks the one to be on.

3.35 Cases could be made for Potter’s Cross and Berkley Barron. The latter perhaps the edge.

4.15 The small field should suit Balder Success who is narrowly preferred to Easter Day.

5.15 God’s Own looks the value bet here as long as the rain stays away.

5.45 This is a competitive handicap. Theatrical Star looks to be going the right way and he gets my vote.

6.10 This looks a very decent bumper. Thomas Brown, Minella on Line and Oscarteea all look to have bright futures. Oscarteea is the selection but all three mentioned look interesting prospects as the season develops.

Fairyhouse

2.40 Shrapnel was the best of these over hurdles.

Hexham

2.45 Rathvawn Belle won a bumper at Punchestown last season and although the trip here might be shorter than ideal she looks the likely winner.

Worcester

3.30 El Macca and Our Kaempfer are both trained by handlers with a excellent record in bumpers. Both are related to bumper winners as well. My slight preference is for Our Kaempfer who has experience in a point to point and comes from a stable bang in form.

5.00 I would be inclined to oppose the favourite in this with Alphabetical order.

Uttoxeter

1.50 Ballyalton and Milord are interesting contenders here, The former only raced once last season but had looked a good prospect the year before. If none the worse for his absence he would be in with a chance here. Milord ran a blinder when 4th at Cheltenham last March and looks on a fair mark. Milord gets the nod.

2.55 Dakar Run has useful form in bumpers and looks a worthy favourite. Another with form in bumpers is No No Mac who comes from an in form stable.

3.35 Le Bec could be the sort to improve over fences and is probably a little over priced at 7/1.

Fontwell

5.20 Doing Fine, a point to point winner, should give Rebecca Curtis a winner in this bumper.

5.50 Third Act did well to finish 3rd at Newton Abbot despite meeting problems in running and can get off the mark here.

Newmarket selections

2.20 Toofi

3.35 Venezia

Bangor

2.20 Dispour, a winner on the flat in France, was an expensive purchase and will be expected to get off to a winning start over timber here. An interesting newcomer to the jumping game but his price is likely to be on the skinny side.

4.50 Points winner Cloud Brook might be good enough here.
