Aintree

12.00 Regal Diamond made a pleasing start to his hurdles career at Chepstow. Highly rated by his trainer he should appreciate the ground. One concern might be the trip which is probably shorter than ideal.

1.00 Clondaw Kaempfer is on a reasonable mark if he can find his best form.

1.30 Dundeee could be better than he has shown thus far.

2.05 Swing Bill has an excellent record over these fences.

2.40 Despite his fall at Newbury Katenko has a good chance in this if none the worse for his mishap. Unioniste, a good third in the Charlie Hall is another for any short list. Our Mick has failed to get round on his last two starts but he boasts some solid form before that. I think that Unioniste will give us a run for our money.

Chepstow

12.55 Midnight Thunder looks to have an each way chance based on his point to point form in Ireland.

1.25 Sausalito Sunrise ran well in third last time out and looks to have the scope to improve.

2.00 This is an open contest and a case could be made for Triptico, De La Bech and The Druids’ Nephew. The Druids’ Nephew.is narrowly preferred to De La Bech.

2.35 Big Society has an each way chance back over hurdles.

Sandown

1.50 At 8/1 Claret Claok looks the value.

2.25 Milord and River Maigue are the two I like.

3.35 Buddy Bolero and Godsmejudge make most appeal.

Today’s only selection was a non runner.

Sedgefield

1.30 Bit of a Jig

Southwell

1.25 Master Rajeem is likely to appreciate this trip and is one to consider. Sego Success is well thought of by connections and is narrowly preferred.

3.20 Delta Forty
