1.30 The betting would seem to indicate that this is between Douvan and L’Ami Serge. The latter looks to have the more secure form and is my selection. At bigger prices Jollyallan and Alvisio Ville should run well.

2.05 Un De Sceaux is a likely warm favourite but I am inclined to look elsewhere given the very short price in a race of this sort. Josses Hill is my each way selection while others to consider are God’s Own and Vibrato Valtat.

2.40 Barrakilla, Pendra, The Druids Nephew and Mendip Express form my short list. My idea of the first 3 would be 1. Pendra 2. The Druids Nephew 3. Barrakilla.

3.20 It has to be Faugheen here. Arctic Fire has an each way shout.

4.00 This should go to Annie Power. At 16/1 Carole’s Spirit looks over priced and has a good each way chance.
