A couple more horses to look out for this afternoon.  Jellicle in the Kempton 6.10 and Bonfire in the Salisbury 2.00.

Not a great day on the tipping front yesterday with only Courageous coming in for me at 9/2. The horse was ending a 25 run losing sequence.

Not much to go at on Sunday. Fieldgunner Kirkup, owned by an osteopath, Kevin Kirkup seems to have lost his form but wears first time headgear in the Musselburgh 3.55.

 

One race that I didn’t get the chance to look at last night was the Newmarket 3.10. Music Show has not been able to repeat her form of last season but she will like the ground and wears a first time visor.  At 20/1 she might be worth a small each way interest.

 

I received a “hot tip” today but I didn’t pass it on which was just as well as it came 7^th of 10 at Worcester. We did at least break our losing run thanks to Fire Fighter a 11/8 favourite at Wolverhampton who won as he pleased under Robert Winston. Fire Fighter is a rapidly improving sort that could win again.

The big betting race tomorrow is the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket(3.50). With 35 runners it is worth betting on more than one runner. Circumvent (28/1) a recent Goodwood winner, Sagramor (14/1) winner of a big handicap at Royal Ascot and the potentially well handicapped Riggins (33/1) would be my three against the field.).

The front two in the betting will be hard to beat in the 2.35 but at a bigger price Shumoos could be each way value.

In the 5.00 Striking Spirit is the complete outsider but is coming down the weights and has an each way chance.

In the 3.55 at Haydock both Lyric Street and Motivado could be open to further improvement.

Looking for an outsider in the 5.05 Mull of Killough and Light from Mars are worth considering.

At Chester Mashaaref has the form to figure in the 4.10 while Courageous continues to creep down the ratings in the 5.20.

I am looking to break a losing run tomorrow.  The progressive Fire Fighter has won 3 of his last 4 and looks to increase his tally in the Wolverhampton 6.15.

At 8/1 Manoori looks each way value in the 4.00 at Kempton tomorrow while in the 5.00 Kieren Fallon rides Avon Lady for the first time which won’t do the horses chance any harm.

Newmarket 2.55 Balty Boys and Mehdi have the form in the book while the unraced Dance with me could go well at a big price.
