Diary: February 28 2008

It hasn’t been the most successful of weeks on here and Accordion Man was the latest sufferer, beaten a neck at Southwell.

There are 2 runners from our list to follow tomorrow, both at Taunton.  Super Nick has sound claims in the 3.30, while Master Overseer represents David Pipe in the 4.30 where he will need to get the better of a hot favourite from the Paul Nicholls stable.

Love’s Philosophy

Love’s Philosophy

by Percy Bysshe Shelley

The fountains mingle with the river
And the rivers with the ocean,
The winds of Heaven mix for ever
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single,
All things by a law divine
In one spirit meet and mingle –
Why not I with thine?

See the mountains kiss high Heaven
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister-flower would be forgiven
If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea –
What are all these kissings worth
If thou kiss not me?
